Kyndal Dattani is a passionate business strategist with over a decade of experience in the tech sector, including several years at IBM in corporate communications and operating efficiency. In these roles, she has focused on designing intentional environments where people flourish—leading projects that enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and foster thriving teams through strategic program management, talent development, and culture design. A Boise native, she returned to the Treasure Valley in 2018 after earning her bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University in New York City, where she met her husband, and subsequently residing in Canada, where he completed his surgical residency at the University of Saskatchewan. Now raising three young daughters in the area, Kyndal is deeply invested in the local community and passionate about creating places where families and residents can truly thrive.

Her professional expertise in project and program management, resource coordination, and driving operational improvements translate directly to the Urban Renewal Agency’s work in guiding strategic investments in infrastructure, public spaces, and economic vitality. Kyndal brings a passion for navigating complex initiatives from vision through execution, always with an eye toward measurable impact and inclusive outcomes.

As a resident who cherishes the region’s greenbelt, downtown access, and local amenities she enjoyed growing up, Kyndal is excited to contribute to the Agency’s mission of ensuring safe, livable neighborhoods and a prosperous future for all.

“I’m honored to serve on the Garden City Urban Renewal Agency board. Urban renewal is about more than projects—it’s about intentionally shaping places where our children and neighbors can grow, connect, and flourish together in this special community we call home.”
