Greenbelt Extension

The Greenbelt is one of the most valued and beloved amenities in Garden City and the Treasure Valley. The Agency has dedicated significant funding each year to improving the Greenbelt for the pleasure and safety of its users, and to attract new businesses. These improvements include replacing damaged asphalt with concrete, striping the path for user safety, and adding seating, signage, landscaping and public art. The Greenbelt is a favorite place for biking, jogging, fishing, and unwinding in nature. Access to Boise Whitewater Park also provides opportunities to surf, paddleboard and swim. Food, housing and entertainment popular with locals and visitors, is now available between 32nd Street and 41st Street.
