City Parking Lot

Providing adequate parking is complex and challenging due to limited available land, high land values, construction costs, and management demands. The Agency turned a bare piece of city-owned land on 36th Street into a small, but highly convenient, parking lot. A neighborhood favorite, this parking lot serves visitors and residents alike with its proximity to favorite daytime and evening activities. It’s particularly popular on summer weekends when visitors head to Boise Whitewater Park, Caffe Luciano’s, and other destinations along the Boise River Greenbelt. The Agency looks for other opportunities to create additional parking within its districts.
