To serve Garden City through urban renewal districts to ensure quality infrastructure, enhance safety and livability, preserve natural assets and open space, and to promote entrepreneurship, creativity, and the arts, for people to live, work, and play in a thriving community.

MEET OUR

Board of Commissioners

The Agency consists of volunteer commissioners, all of whom have been appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The Agency has no paid staff.

The Board of Commissioners works with city officials and community members to develop and implements plans for revitalizing the city. Meetings are held at 12 noon on the first Monday of each month, at the Garden City City Hall. If you are interested in serving on the commission, please click here for more information.
