Mobility & Safety

35th & Clay Street

The Agency partnered with a local developer on a multi-use redevelopment project at the corner of 35th & Clay Streets. Agency funding was used for new sidewalks, landscaping, and lighting. These improvements enhanced traffic flow & safety, added parking space and ADA facilities, and increased aesthetic appeal of the area. The two residential units are functioning as Airbnb rentals, bringing visitors to Garden City. The very popular WEPA Café has created twenty new jobs.
